Below are answers to a few of the Frequently Asked Questions...

• Can I book one-way charters?
You can fly one-way, but in most cases, charter is quoted to bring an aircraft from one base location to your departure point, then to your destination, and back to the aircraft's base location.

• What is included in the charter price?
Hourly rates include flight crew, basic on board amenities and use of the aircraft. Additional charges apply for landing fees, flight attendants, overnights, catering, international handling charges and federal excise taxes.

• What are the most important issues I should base my buying decision on?
The charter operator's safety history; flight standards; and crew experience are among the most important factors in choosing a charter provider.

• Aren't all charter operators the same? Shouldn't I just choose the lowest priced option like I do with the airlines?
No. Charter operators have varying levels of standards, maintenance quality, crew quality etc. Like most things, you pay for what you get. Higher quality operators should provide services for a fair price, but price alone should not be the only decision criterion.

• Is it true that a coast-to-coast non-stop charter may not save me any more time than the same charter in an aircraft that must stop for fuel?
It is aircraft-dependent, but yes, this can be the case.

• Can I put my skis on the floor, inside the cabin?
No. All baggage on board aircraft must be stowed or strapped down.

• Are there any scheduling limitations? Can we fly Coast to Coast, have a brief meeting, and fly back right away? What about flights from the West Coast to Europe and back? Can we fly non-stop? Can we fly from Europe to the West Coast in one day?
There are long-range aircraft that can handle non-stop flights from Europe to the West Coast. Of course longer-range aircraft are more expensive to fly. Depending on crew duty time provisions, and the aircraft range, the aircraft is yours to schedule as you wish once you have booked it.

• What about catering?
CapJet will arrange for catering at your request. It can be as detailed or as simple as you prefer.

• Ground Transportation?
Capjet will arrange for your ground transportation or if you prefer, we will coordinate the aircraft arrival and departure with ground transportation that you or your office has arranged.

• What type of safety equipment do the aircraft that fly over water carry?
All aircraft that fly over water are equipped with life vests, life rafts, and survival equipment.
